ChiCityInc Started in April of 2008 by an Electronics Technician named Shaun P and a hiphop artist named Scandalous.
ChiCityInc when started is a Recording label. From the company, ChiCityInc created a focus on the three main forms of entertainment (Music / Fashion / Film ). Our artists and staff are use their talents and pursue careers in either one or more of the three entertainments, making success more or a certainty. ChiCityInc does artist management, publishing for musicians & songwriters, film & music video production and editing, duplications, and artist career planning & development.
Currently, our
company ChiCityInc is putting forth an effort to fight the senseless gun violence, combat teenage pregnancy, and fight the negative attitude towards education among our youth. ...And now we are pushing this movement to radio.
This has land 3 of CCI's artists slots on the "Yes I Can Tour 09" which a paid 10 month Tour Based out of Atlanta hitting all youth, teenage, and young adult oriented venues (pep rally's, park festivals etc) from Georgia in the east over to Nevada in the west.
I, personally will attend panel discussions and other community meetings to combat the crises.
ChiCityInc has opened up it's
studio to young people whom are interested in music to be recording engineers, artists, media consultants,producers, managers, advertising and promotions and/or film editing. This keeps them off the streets and into a focused hands on program of study that they can build on and use in the future, if they choose. This program of study is ChiCityInc's Recording Arts Career Development Program. We now seek the funding we need to expand our facilities to better serve the students & community.
